- So the rumours was true after all. We have read about the imminent participation of this bank since last June. errr... though at this very juncture, my comment was not based on the official announcement by the Liverpool Football Club but by The Guardian (a rather respected UK newspaper & not in the same league with The Sun). hihihi
- The new shirt sponsorship deal is said to be worth £80m over four years – the most lucrative in football history and equal to that of Manchester United.
- The London-based international bank, Standard Chartered, are believed to be behind the deal starting in mid-2010 which should give the manager, Rafael BenÃtez, some much-needed funds for the transfer market.
- That's the end to 17 years tie with Carlsberg. And it's a change that should have been done many-many years ago.
