Owen was called `
Saint Michael' as opposed to his nemesis, Robbie `The God' Fowler when he was in Liverpool.
When he was with Real Madrid, his tenure there didn't make any
sense! He was not appreciated nor valued by the manager. Thus the pathetic one season in Spain.
At Newcastle, he was always in
pain. He hardly play because he injured almost half of the season.
Now that he is (almost at the time of this article) become a player to Manchester United, people will remember him as `Formerly Saint, Now Known As
SCUM'...

Owen badly ned to convc Capello for WC spot. wonder how if he scores agst Pool??
He's way past his prime although he's a proven goal-getter.I wouldn't worry too much about him donning MU shirt.
zizou,
We had players come & go but none reach the stature of Owen. So it's difficult. We had an ackward situation when Robbie Kean return to Anfield on the last day of the season as an opponent whereas only a 5 months earlier we were putting hope on him. I share my view with Trg LFC though if Owen gets a good through ball from the flanks, the odds is that he'll convert the ball. sigh...
