10/01/2008 The Daily MirrorValencia boss Ronald Koeman has made a last ditch attempt to steal Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko from under the noses of Juventus.
Liverpool misfit Sissoko, 22, wants to go to Juventus but Valencia have moved in to try and offer the Mali international a better deal.
Koeman said: "We know the deal is complicated but it is not complete. He has all the characteristics of the player we need."

After a blistering form he had shown in the last 2 seasons, suddenly in the current season of 2007/08... Sissoko performance take a dip.
Even so, he has been a good example as the only Muslim player in the squad and we are proud of the way he handles himself as a true Muslim.
