Farewell Rafael Benitez, it was ISTANBUL!

What if Torres do the Titanic version? If Rafa jump, I jump...?????

  1. A football club such as Liverpool FC which is known as a stable club, in terms of management - having to see three managers come & go within this 2 decades, is acceptable. First it was Roy Evans who eventually lost out to Gerard Houllier, then Rafa in 2004. It's a good record, compare to Chelsea or Real Madrid or Japanese government.

  2. I will not write too much about him today since I'm not an advocate to his dismissal.

  3. The concerned now is who will take over from him? Apparently, one Mr Kenny Daglish has been appointed to oversee the candidates. So, I'm not at all that worried. Mr Daglish won't settled for a sissy to manage his beloved club.

  4. The next important question is what would be the reaction from the squad themselves? Would they be professional or would they also leave?

  5. For this, I yet to purchase the new LFC jersey with that particular bank's logo on the chest.

i'm not surprise if torres & gerrard leave liverpool. not because of rafa, but the lack of ambition by the owner. liverpool needs money to buy a new player and i'm a bit surprise when the owner said to rafa last week that liverpool dont have anything to spend in the summer.

still waiting for the new owner. if no new owner after world cup, we will see many of our star player leave Liverpool after this and we cant blame them.

big loss to Liverpool, yes he had a bad season 2009/10. he is still a great manager and there are not that many managers about who are either on his level or better than him. at the end of the day Liverpool will rue this decision. Which top class manager will come to a club with divided board, no money and an unrealistic expectation of winning the EPL?

but still. nobody is bigger than the club. out yanks, YNWA Rafa and it's time to move on for us the supporter.

Liverpool will never sell Torres, Gerrard or Mascherano unless they want to leave. The Americans, unless they are idiots, must have realized if they sell their best players, no investor will buy LFC at their asking price of 600 million.

Like it or not they must make a business decision by investing more to get more. Gerrad and Torres are both untouchable and they can pressure the owner to get top players and top manager or they will leave. Without them LFC could be on the auction table and the Americans knows this.

What they said to Rafa about no money is just their tactic to unsettle Benitez and eventually pushed him out.
