Kuyt is familiar to everyone of us now as the most hard working player when ever he is on the pitch. Testament to that was during LFC first game of the season against spirited Aston Villa. The ball bounced to the left and surely going out and everyone of us would thought we gonna have a corner kick. But not for Kuyt. He chased the ball and kicked it in. Such was the panic it created, the Villa defenders ran back and the ball hit one of them. Though the goal is now registered as own-goal but we know, it was Kuyt hard working style who made it. After all, the meaning of own-goal is not like the defender kick the ball to the goal deliberately.
He is the preferred choice as the second striker at the moment.
Unlike him, Crouch can be considered unlucky to be in his position nowadays. People believe that Rafa put him as the no.4 striker in the team. Thus, he will be used sparringly. Sometimes he made it as a sub, sometimes he won't be seen at all on the bench. Consider the lousy form we are having now since the win against Derby, Crouch was not really in the picture though in one game where he started... he failed to convert any. But again, the only person who can play well alone eventhough the whole team might not, is the one and only Stevie G. However, when push comes to shove, it shows that Crouch can do it. We really need to win the game against Besiktas and we did. Crouch was hailed as the man of the match though it looks like Youssi's hattrick overtaken him.
hmmm.... lets not be concerned of who is not, who is what. Thank God we have 4 choices of strikers nowadays. The onus is down to Rafa. If he rotate correctly (meaning we win the game), we will gain the 3 points. If not, Rafa will not silent the critics.
