ANDRIY VORONIN has warned Liverpool must beat Fulham to keep alive their title dreams.
The Reds face Lawrie Sanchez's men at Anfield on Saturday knowing a win would take them to within three points of pacesetters Arsenal and Manchester United.
But Ukrainian hitman Voronin reckons anything other than a victory over the Cottagers would be a massive blow to Liverpool.
He said: "It's very important for us to win on Saturday – we must win.
"We haven't played as well as we should have done and it's important we go into the international break on a high.
"We don't want to allow our rivals to go any further ahead in the table.
"We want to be at the top of the league and need to get as many points as quickly as possible."
Voronin, who has bagged four goals since joining on a free from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, has extra incentive to score against Fulham.
The striker wants to mark the arrival of his son, who was born on Merseyside last Saturday.
Voronin added: "The labour went well and both the mother and child are fit and healthy.
"I am delighted and I hope to dedicate a goal to him this weekend!"
