Same goes to Lucas Leiva and Daniel Agger who are rested. We have another crunch match on Sunday against West Ham. Brendan Rodgers denied he rotates the players but the fans are not really bothered about the infamous rotation system made popular by Rafa Benitez. What we are really concerned is LFC must register more wins. Be it in Europe or BPL.
Thus, the job is left for Luis Suarez and perhaps he'll get a better service from the middle. Except for those three players who will be watching from their homes in Liverpool, the manager have promised to line-up a strong squad. There will be Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Henderson, Sahin, Shelvey: Sterling, Suarez, Downing and Joe Allen.
Liverpool are second in the group on head-to-head record and will qualify for the knock-out stage if they beat Udinese. A draw will be enough if Young Boys do not beat Anji Makhachkala. Defeat would send Liverpool out, regardless of what Young Boys do, as the Swiss side would be top of a three-way head-to-head involving Liverpool and Udinese.
