I'm not sure if any of us would be bothered about this calamity. But it was once in a blue moon for our dear captain. After all, we have won the match. Let bygone be bygone.
There is nothing to be concerned of. Steven Gerrard has won us many many games all his career. And his loyalty is very much appreciated, together with Jamie Carragher. Next match against Aston Villa, perhaps Gerrard would score. I would love to see that.

It wasn't his first o.g. He scored an o.g once before in the League Cup Final 2004 against Chelsea. But I agree, this one against West Ham didn't really matter. Shit happens.
Actually, I remember that goal. But as you stated above, it was in the League Cup. I thought I could hide it. HAHAHAAH sorry...!!!
