Oldham Athletic donned a one-off neon pink strip for televised
match against Leeds United to help raise funds for the Victoria Breast Unit at
the Royal Oldham Hospital, which neighbours Boundary Park on 3 March 2009. After a 1-1 draw
manager John Sheridan said: “It was always going to be a tough game where both
teams had played so soon before but I thought we did well – although I don’t

According to pre-match articles, this Oldham Athletic is quite an awesome team. They managed to surprised Manchester United on a few occasion. The typical mentality for small club that they have nothing to lose when they are up against the giants. So why not just give it a shot. Tomorrow could be a weary match for Liverpool, indeed.
I found the photo above from the offthepost.com and it surely funny. But since the match won't be televised, we won't know if Oldham would pull such a stunt once again. It is a bit disappointing not to have the game on the television. May be because it is only an FA Cup match, may be the sponsors thought it is just Oldham or may be because they don't believe Liverpool could win this match. HAHAHA....
If the match is to be aired, it would be 4am Malaysia time. Since it won't, I have to look at the positive side of not having to sacrifice my sleep tomorrow. So I hope by the time I woke up at 10am tomorrow, I will read the winning news of Liverpool FC.
