One of the virtue and true value of Liverpool Football Club is that it always remain humble in executing its transaction or businesses. As a fan, this is the nature we love most and endear us closer to the organisation. Imagine that feeling has been steadily built in everyone of us since our childhood to our adult age today. That make supporting LFC is such an honourable and moraly beautiful experience. The club teach us to be humble in greatness, efficient in silence and bold without shouting. We don't need a supermillionaire from Russia or a sulking old man from Scotland or even a whining gentleman from France to show how good the team has been, in particular when we won the Champion Cup in Istanbul 2005. Since the beginning of Rafa's era, the bonding between the fans and the club has never been tighter. I know. I am surely one of them. I who live hundred of thousand miles away from Liverpool and could only follow the team through the satellite tv and Internet.
So when the new owner, Gillet and Hicks humilliated Rafa in such a way by naming a not-so-highly-rated German former coach... to be his `emergency' replacement or what ever, the faith is gone. I surely hated them. Both of the Americans have no business in LFC or soccer at all for that matter.
Now there is an opportunity for the two of them to leave amicably and `with more money', I pray Dubai will come out good in this deal. Surely the Americans are no longer respected by the fans, be it in Merseyside or as far as Kuala Lumpur here in Malaysia.
Yanks... GET OUT!
