We won it without using our 2 SUPER FIGHTERS and Man.U is KAPUT...

It took me 2 days to come back to earth... before I can write about the defeat of Man.U and the winning of LFC... in a nonchalant but sober situation. It took me that long to settle down... hahaha

The joy from defeating our fiercest opponent is not merely felt spiritually but more importantly, from speculative point of view. I won RM300. It could have been higher, if not for my lack of capital injection prior to the game to enable me to up my stacks. But it's still early days.

Again, the most beautiful part of this win is that it was won without relying to our double super fighters in Torres and Gerrard. Though Gerrard came in for the last 20mins but it was evidence that the assault started early in the 2nd half. Not to say that we don't need those two super fighters but imagined what kind of harm they could inflict unto Man.U if both of them started the game.

There are a few pointers that we can attribute our win :

1. Rafa must have said something to them rather `intimately' during the break and it was shown during the 2nd half with everyone running for the ball full-hearted AND tackle the opponent with full convictions. That excite the crowd and we, tv viewers trusted the manner they play.
   
2. The greatness of Monster Masherano is the key. He was seen to be shaking his head when his fellow countrymen managed to score as early as the 3rd mins. He must have been cursing himself for that goal. And when he set his target, damned this short and small but very strong midfielder just rammed on his opponent, thus `complimented' by Fergie who claimed that his boys was hassled by LFC's physical approaches (that's funny... Fergie knows football is a contact game and coming from a very experience manager - such statement is insulting to humans intelligent.


3. The defensive midfielder typified the tenacity that turned the game in his side's favour and left Sir Alex Ferguson angry that United had been outfought.


4. Masherano was the play maker in setting up the winning goal. In fact, without him I sincerely think that LFC won't be able to stop Scholes or Giggs. But he did. Tremendously!


5. Man.U lost Carrick. I guess that's also contribute to the collapse of Man.U's defence. But is it LFC's fault that he got injured? No way. It's part and parcel of the game. You break your leg, you'll lose. That's all.
   
6. No matter what people are talking about Robbie Keane... and yes, he is yet to score any goals after 4 league games and a couple UCL, but the manner that Wes Brown and Ferdinand shadowed him, proves how much the Man.U's defenders rated him. Both of them knows Keane is a lethal striker. They managed to close his movement, stop him from scoring but they failed to do the same to Babel.


7. Rafa was seen changing his mind at the very last minute. David Ngog was ready to go in for Keane but Rafa saw that Masherano has waved for a change. On live telecast, Rafa acted as if he was a madman.. shouting NO... NO!... with his dramatic hands signals and everybody (in particular the referees...) was shocked (for a moment). Ngog's arrival was canceled and came in Hyppia for Masherano. The time is 5 minutes into full time. However, the whole thing shows what a brilliant man Rafa is. I'm not bias. I guess you got to use your brain to defeat such a talented team like Man.U and Rafa did just that.

NOTICE:
Now all of you LIVERPOOL FC Fans... We must enjoy this win and gloat about it for a month. Do not hesitate to hassle any of Man.U fans and jeer them mercilessly. Create a funny face, smile you must not but LAUGH loudly at them. Make a statement. Tell them that LFC have beaten Man.U over and over again... until he walks away...crying may be.
